I got to know a lot of students from different countries through this semester’s letter line class. We share the same hobbies, and we are honored to be put into the same group and have the opportunity to know each other.Through simple communication, I also found a lot of differences in communication methods.

What impressed me most was an assignment in which the group worked together to make PPT and then made a speech. I was assigned to a team with another little sister from South Korea. We had to work together on the same project and then submit it and make a speech.

At that time, we did not have a good communication at the beginning, because we did not have the contact information of each other and could not find each other. It was a series of twists and turns until finally we got the contact information and established a group for dialogue and communication. Because our final function has to be in the same PowerPoint, we have to do it in the same format. At that time, we used English to communicate, and in a night of communication to determine the accurate plan. Send them to one student and submit them together in the PPT. I think it was a very good experience in my study. At the beginning, I was very averse to communicating with people I didn’t know. But after that I changed my mind.

I think we can communicate with each other and don’t be afraid to communicate with each other. At the beginning, I often mispronounced words in group communication, but my classmates didn’t give me a cold shoulder. In some cases, I have to look it up in the dictionary. Therefore, the speed of typing is much slower than that of the students who use English as a national language. However, I am tolerated by them, which I think is a very good phenomenon. At the same time, they also give me a lot of encouragement. 

I learned a lot from it,It is a pity that this course is online and there is no good face-to-face communication with new students from different countries. I hope that next year, we can communicate better through offline communication！

I designed the characters by combining tea bags ·candles and bottle caps.
